Where can I download the Mac OSX drivers for the Canon p-150, other than the canon web site?
According to this page, there's a driver availble on their support site: http://www.canon.co.uk/For_Work/Products/Document_Imaging_Systems/High_Speed_Document_Scanners/P-150/
"Multi-platform compatibility
The P-150 offers compatibility on Mac systems with an included Mac TWAIN driver and CaptureOnTouch software for Mac. Also a SANE compliant Linux driver is available for organisations preferring to develop with open architecture. This driver can be downloaded from Canon’s software support site."
However, the driver is not available at any of these locations:

Drivers have always been a problem anyhow here is also some information about PCs/laptops, hardware drivers and connected parts/accessories. Might be helpful for you. http://windowsxpdriversfornewmodellaptops.blogspot.com/

World's Smallest/Most PORTABLE Printer?
just need to print word documents, it could be black and white only, ugly, extremely slow, i don't need photo or any of that crazy extra stuff
i do need it be quiet because i don't want everyone in the room to stare at me, i do need it to be lightweight for i will be carrying all day in my bag, and having a scanner option would be nice too or wireless option but not necessary,
i found these but....if you can find better?

Once you put a scanner on it, it will not be portable. best look at a portable scanner. Also look at the HP Officejet H470 models. But you do have some good options listed as well.
Canon Pixma MP560 printer/scanner trouble?
I just bought the Canon Pixma MP560 printer/scanner/photocopier and had a problem with saving the scans I took. My PC doesn't have a CD-rom as I'm using an HP netbook, so I cannot properly install the printer's component software; instead I downloaded a driver off the internet which allowed me to print. I would also like to scan several documents but this is where the problems occur. Since I didn't use the CD installer, there is no storage place for scans (the only thing that shows up in the programs taskbar is the uninstaller and a readme file). How do I save the scans I take on my computer? Is there anyway I can download a fully functioning driver to my computer without using the CD?
Also, a portable CD-rom is not an option.
Which camera should I get?
Samsug SL820?
or
Canon Powershot SD970?

What I'm looking for in a camera:
Under $400 (preferably around $200, but there are exceptions...)
Good Value
Sharp-sharp-sharp images/photos
Image Stabilization
"Faster" Shutter Lag - a.k.a. take pictures faster
Nice Features
Portable
Versatilty (indoors w/o flash, nighttime w/ flash, outdoors in the blazing sun, blue skies, cloudy days etc.)
Accurate and beautiful colors
The reviews for each camera are all over the place, and they are rarely compared to one another. One is more of the "good value" type, while the other comes from a very respectable line of cameras, but costs more. I'm a student who just wants to use this camera for documenting everyday situations (and perhaps some adventurous ones as well i.e. vacations etc.).
Please, if you plan to recommend me an entirely different camera, stick to the requirements and do not venture into other brands. I would like to stick to a Canon Powershot or a Samsung.
Thank you so much.
